With the help of more than 80 Cal student ambassadors, the Visitor and Parent Services team welcomes and orients a broad spectrum of guests to campus, including prospective students and their parents, alumni, school groups, donors and scholars from around the world. The team also operates Sather Tower/Campanile and oversees Cal Day, the annual campus open house.
Campus tours
Provides daily walking tours of the campus for individuals and groups.
Parent outreach
Manages communication between the campus and parents of Cal students. Channels of communication include Cal Parents Facebook and Letter Home.
Cal Day
Runs Cal Day, the annual campus wide open house event in April.
Campanile
Manages the operation of the Campanile, which provides visitors the opportunity to see the campus from the observation platform.
